Getting there: taxi cards and maps that work in Korea

Most taxi drivers and map apps in Korea work best with the Korean name of a place. Every page on this site shows it next to the English name.

Show to taxi

Tap 🚕 Show to taxi on any place, pharmacy or clinic. Your phone shows the Korean name (and the Korean address for pharmacies and clinics) in large letters with “여기로 가 주세요” — “Please take me here”. Hand the phone to the driver.

Map apps

• Naver Map and KakaoMap have the most complete walking, transit and driving directions in Korea. Our buttons open the place directly in each app.
• Google Maps works for transit, but walking and driving directions in Korea have long been limited — use it as a backup.

Map apps don’t always know that a museum moves its closing day after a holiday. Check the place page here, which follows the official rules.
